Favorite place to stay

      

                  My favorite place to stay is my school  

        

     My school is where I like to be the most after home. My school is Vijaya College, Matale. My school is a mixed school. The school was started in 1886.The founder of my school is Sir Henry Steele Olcott. Our school is a Buddhist school. A separate primary section has been set aside. My school has four houses namely Mahinda, Nalanda, Ananda and Dharmaraja . I was at Mahinda's house.


       Our school has produced a lot of educated people. Six students from the aesthetic class I was in went to campus. I think school is the happiest time of my life. I made a lot of new friends. Laughed, had fun, went on a trip, was friendly with the teachers, and learned well.
           
 
                 When I was grade 12 I drew a big picture on the wall of the classroom. You can still see the same painting when you go to class. A painting that I drew with great interest. He also drew a picture on the school wall. Everyone on the road can see it. I'm so glad I went to campus in honor of the school I attended. I also hope to study well and serve the society. I still love my school. Proud to be "vijayans" .

                     My favorite artist               He was one of the most gifted and versatile Artists of Sri Lanka. He was a person who arranged a suitable and  colourful stage and then worked behind the stage looking after makeup and costumes. He worked specifically for Chitrasena School. A born traditionalist, he had mastered the most advanced trends of contemporary painting . Somabandu name will remain as a master at creating harmonious decor and tasteful costumes for the oriental ballet. It is located in the Central Province, Kandy District. My village is very beautiful.
