     My little paradise is my village 



            My little paradise is my village. My village name is Ankumbura. It is located in the Central Province, Kandy District. My village is very beautiful. The climate here is nice, not too cold, not too hot.

                                          Our village has a beautiful environment. Rubber, tea and paddy are the major crops grown here. Our village is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim people live here. Everyone lives in harmony.
                                                                                                               We have a tea factory in our village. There are a lot of public services. There are plenty of places to walk. There are  "Kudagala, Hakkunu Ella, Udawatte Bungalow and  Kakulantlawa Rock "etc.
               
 
         I'm so glad to be in a village like this. There is a very good environment. So I'm very lucky.

                The year 2019 saw a new wave in Sri Lanka. Paintings were created on the walls of the streets on the concept of a beautiful Sri Lanka. Somabandu Vidyapathi

                     My favorite artist               He was one of the most gifted and versatile Artists of Sri Lanka. He was a person who arranged a suitable and  colourful stage and then worked behind the stage looking after makeup and costumes. He worked specifically for Chitrasena School. A born traditionalist, he had mastered the most advanced trends of contemporary painting . Somabandu name will remain as a master at creating harmonious decor and tasteful costumes for the oriental ballet.
